The Education Passport is more than a booklet or a program—it’s a co-designed invitation to learn anywhere, with anyone. It helps learners document their journeys, earn recognition for experiences, and celebrate curiosity in everyday life. But what makes this initiative different is that it’s being shaped by learners themselves, from the very beginning.

Nexus is a groundbreaking program designed to bridge the gap between STEM education and real-world application by connecting students with local small businesses through hands-on projects.
Our initiative aims to foster a vibrant learning ecosystem in Falls Church by engaging students in practical STEM projects that address community needs while supporting local enterprises. This approach not only enriches the educational experience but also strengthens community ties and promotes economic development.

We have run two clinics to date—one at Mr. Brown’s Park in partnership with The Toy Nest, and one at the Farmers Market in partnership with The Finishing School, Falls Church Forward, Acton Academy Falls Church, and The Toy Nest. The City Library has requested to host the next clinic in March 2026.

We have kickstarted a Tool Lending Library, through tool donations collected at the Falls Church City’s Recycling Extravaganza.
