Who we are

ABOUT US

Us

We are a diverse group of professionals who are deeply engaged in an ongoing and seemingly endless dialogue about the future of education. We're exploring questions such as: Is education evolving to meet the changing needs of learners, or is it moving further away from its traditional form? Is the education system we once knew on the verge of collapse? Could an education revolution be on the horizon, and if so, will it ever conclude?

Driven by learners

We are filled with questions which motivate us to explore initiatives driven by learners, practices that prioritize the learner's experience, and self-directed learning, among others. Our journey begins with acknowledging what we do not yet understand.

Flux and transformation

Our world is in a state of constant flux and transformation. The COVID-19 pandemic has made it abundantly clear that we can't return to the way things were before. Both parents and educators are grappling with the challenge of creating an education model that aligns with children's needs, even though we are uncertain about what those needs are in the context of future job opportunities. How can education address needs that are still unknown? How can we prepare for a future that remains uncertain mainly?

MISSION - VISION

Image

NGO

As an NGO dedicated to the advancement of education, we recognize both the progress and persistent challenges in the field. Education worldwide is evolving amidst ongoing technological advancements, shifting economic landscapes, and the profound impact of global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. These factors continue to shape the future of education on a global scale.

However, we must also address significant challenges, particularly concerning the roles of educators and parents across all educational levels. What is the ultimate purpose of education for learners? How can it better respond to their ever-changing and often unpredictable needs? Education is no longer solely about what one has learned but, more importantly, about the ability to learn continuously.

Access to knowledge

Access to knowledge is no longer restricted behind closed doors, and the quest for knowledge no longer requires a single key. Instead, it revolves around making sense of the vast ocean of information available online.

Moreover, the dynamic nature of the modern world has led the job market to play a more active role in shaping education. Many employers are creating their own training programs and academies to match the evolving skill demands, rather than relying solely on traditional education systems.

Our mission

In light of these complexities, it's crucial to consider the perspectives of learners themselves. What do they have to say about the role of education in their lives? How do they envision education serving them best in this rapidly changing landscape?

Our mission is to promote learner-driven education by developing innovative approaches and tools through research and program implementation. We aim to engage directly with learners, seeking their insights and collaborating to shape an education system that empowers them to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Together, we can ensure that education remains relevant, adaptable, and genuinely learner-centric, all aiming to improve the world.
